Compass Compliance Management was founded with a vision of providing affordable, high-quality compliance reviews, fuel tax reporting, training, administrative support services and general DOT compliance assistance to private fleets and for-hire motor carriers.  Since 1981, Compass founder Mike Purcell has been working in the transportation industry for both carriers and shippers.  He has managed safety departments, designed, implemented and managed private fleets in the paper products and steel industries, and has worked as a consultant to develop fleet compliance, safety, and driver training programs.  Mike has also received accreditation from the Transportation Safety Institute (in cooperation with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) as a certified compliance professional.  Co-founder Judy Purcell holds a degree in accounting and has also worked in safety and compliance within the motor carrier industry.  Together they bring the experience necessary to provide the highest level of quality service, as well as, a commitment to accuracy and a passion for customer service that forms the foundation of the company’s mission – providing top quality administrative, compliance, training,  and auditing services, and making every client feel as though you are our only client.
